BAKED BRIE + PEPPER BERRY + HONEY
INGREDIENTS
1 x wheel of your favourite brie (or you could use camberbert)
1 tablespoon of Honey (you can buy our favourite here)
1 teaspoon of ground pepper berry
Add thyme or rosemary for a flavoured garnish
Optional - Prosciutto and a warm crusty bread stick/roll
METHOD:
Heat your oven to 180degrees
Place the cheese on baking paper in a cheese baker (if you have one) or an oven proof dish with high sides and a lid
You’ll only need about 15 minutes in the oven and you can see if it’s ready by touching the middle which should feel like your finger could go through it, or you can dip a skewer in and see if it comes out with melted cheese on it.
Remove from the oven when you think it’s ready and then drizzle honey over it and then the ground pepper berry and herb garnishes to serve with bread.
It should stay gooey for about 10 minutes and you can easily reheat it in the microwave if you don’t devour it immediately!
Enjoy with sourdough or warm a long crusty bread stick and tear pieces off with your hands to spread with the cheese.
The smell, the taste….this is so so damn good. Trust us when we say this is an easy way to impress guests or even impress yourself while enjoying a Sunday afternoon at home in front of the fire with a glass of red wine…which is our favourite way to enjoy - Abby x
